Fraudulent “Disruptive Physician” Coaching Ads

Unscrupulous Nevada and California Anger Management Counselors are targeting unsuspecting physicians with low fee and on-line classes for mandated physicians. The coaching that is being advertised is not approved by any entity and inconsistent with JCAHO Standards.
Legitimate Executive Coaching/Anger Management providers for “disruptive physicians” do not provide these services on-line and are able to provide checkable references from major hospital chains and healthcare organizations.

All competent Executive Coaching/Anger Management Coaches for physicians suffer when they remain silent and allow the above type of consumer fraud to be left unchallenged.

Certified or Not??

I recently learned that another local provider of Anger Management classes is telling people that the anger management classes here at Positive Solutions Anger Management and Executive Coaching were not certified and not accepted by the courts. This provider further claimed that we did not have certified anger management facilitators. I was disappointed that this mis-information had been spread by another "professional" offering anger management classes in the area.

To set the record straight, nothign could be further from the truth. Positive Solutions Anger Management and Executive Coaching offers a certified curriculum and uses the widely known workbooks from Anderson and Anderson, Los Angeles, CA. We have had extensive training in the areas of anger management, stress management, communication, and emotional intelligence. We are not therapists but have obtained a certification through Anderson and Anderson as Certified Anger Management Facilitators. We are required to complete continuing education each year for this certification.We are listed on Anderson and Anderson's website at www.andersonservices.com under the provider list if anyone is interested in verifying our credibility.

I apologize if anyone was ever mislead that Positive Solutions and their facilitators were not approved by Kern County Courts among most California Courts as a certified provider of anger management classes.
